NexaFrame Arabia is an architecture, interior design and contracting practice working between Riyadh and Beirut.
One competition,
four countries.
The practice was founded in Lebanon by Emilio Gebrael as a hub for architecture, interior design and contracting.
Our inaugural moment was second place, with our team, in a contest to design the ultimate tourist restaurant — a brief to create an entire restaurant village on a single plot. It was the right way to start: a project that had to be conceived as an idea and then resolved as a buildable thing.
From Lebanon the work branched out to Greece, Cyprus and Saudi Arabia. The portfolio now covers restaurants, apartments, villas, resorts, schools, clinics, data centres and corporate headquarters — and the practice holds main-contractor and subcontractor packages alongside design.
First back
into the port.
On 4 August 2020 the Port of Beirut was destroyed. KeyFreight’s warehouses in the Free Zone were among the losses. We were pioneers in re-entering the port, constructing the inaugural building for the company while the site was still being cleared — a 5,000 m² headquarters divided into bound storage, free zone storage and offices.
The facade was clad in blue composite panels drawn from the company’s own mark. Inside, upcycled steel was used throughout to cut waste, and the lamps were fabricated from explosion material. It remains the clearest statement of what this practice is for: design that survives contact with a real site.
Understanding the client and their surroundings is not a step in the process. It is the process.

Single accountability
Where we design and build, there is no gap between the drawing and the site to argue across.
Budget held early
Material selection is negotiated against the client’s figure from concept, not discovered at tender.
Existing fabric respected
Where a structure has history, we work with it — preserved facades, reused steel, retained shells.
Lighting as structure
Stretch ceilings, linear runs and sculptural fittings are designed in, not specified at the end.
